AH Squared/Dance+Music, a synthesis of dance music and technology (Angela Hill - dance and Andre Hayter - music and technology), will present Current Flow, a multimedia performance at the Black Box Theatre as part of the Actor's Co-op Fringe Festival. Current Flow will engage audiences with thought provoking athletic dance, cutting edge music and motion triggered sound and video events. Pieces in the show will address a range of subject matter including physics, consciousness, human anatomy, religious fanaticism, and the sexuality of performers. Included in the original works to be premiered is a video dance entitled "Pull," which was shot in Greece and features Hill as a solo dancer in various provocative environments. Hayter and guest musician, Nathan Barrett will perform a new musical exploration which features a laptop computer, bass guitar, didgeridoo and frying pan as instruments. The piece will lay the foundation for a brand new duet co-created and performed by Angela Hill and guest choreographer, Wayles Haynes. Joy Davis and Kimberly Matibag will perform solos choreographed by Hill. Other special guest dancers include Valerie Wallace, Melinda Wolfe and Megan Ward. The show is $5 at the door.
