Positive Space
an interactive movement game

In September of 2012 AH Squared’s “Positive Space” made its debut at the Willoughby Spring Festival and the Sydney Fringe on Chatswood’s Urban Screen. “Positive Space” is a family-friendly game installation which uses motion tracking from the Kinect to generate digital images and sound, and aims to bring movement into gaming through the growing trend of “whole body interface” in technology.

Participants played with moving their bodies to fit into the shapes that came toward them on the screen while their movements were tracked and fed back to the game showing them their success rate through sound and visuals.
